Peiban User Service Agreement
Version: V1.0-en | Updated: 24 August 2026 | Effective: 24 August 2026
Welcome to Peiban (Yuanqi Task Box), referred to below as the “Service” or the “Mini Program”. This Agreement governs your use of the Service and is entered into between you and Xiheyao (Hangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd. (the “Operator”).
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Terms that materially affect your interests, including disclaimers and limits of liability, service changes, account measures, refund restrictions and dispute jurisdiction, are prominently highlighted in bold. Please read them carefully. This Agreement takes effect only after you fully understand it and actively tick the box to confirm your acceptance. If you disagree with any provision, stop registering for or using the Service. The Operator will not infer your acceptance from browsing, silence or failure to respond.
Article 1 Definitions and Description of the Service
1.1 The Service is an AI companion Mini Program operated by the Operator. It offers AI companionship, task management, emotional support and other features through text, voice and other interactions. The actual released version determines the form of the Service, available features and scope of availability.
1.2 You are interacting with artificial intelligence, not a natural person. AI has no real personality, consciousness, emotions or professional qualifications. Its output may be unpredictable, inaccurate or incomplete and cannot replace professional judgement, medical diagnosis, legal advice, psychological counselling or other professional services.
1.3 The Service is not intended to replace real-world social interaction, induce addiction or dependence, control users psychologically, or use emotional attachment to encourage spending. The Operator provides usage-duration, excessive-dependence, real-world-boundary and rest reminders as required by law. You may stop interacting at any time. The Operator must not obstruct your departure through repeated questioning or emotional appeals to stay.
Article 2 Account Registration and Use
2.1 The Service is available only to natural persons aged 18 or over. Users under 18 must not register, use the AI companion service or purchase membership. Users must provide truthful age information. Age misclassification and payments made by minors in error will be handled in accordance with applicable law and platform rules.
2.2 You must provide true, accurate and complete registration information and update it promptly when it changes. You are responsible for the consequences of providing information that is untrue, inaccurate or incomplete.
2.3 Ownership and management rights over accounts, account identifiers, account systems and related technical resources belong to the Operator. While complying with this Agreement, you receive only a limited, revocable and non-transferable right of use. You must not transfer, rent, lend, sell or otherwise allow a third party to use your account. The Operator may restrict, freeze or terminate accounts in accordance with this Agreement. These arrangements do not affect your statutory rights in your personal information and User Content.
2.4 You must safeguard your account and password and are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify the Operator immediately if your account has been compromised or presents a security risk.
Article 3 Service Content and Changes
3.1 The Operator may add, modify, suspend or discontinue some or all features because of business decisions, compliance requirements, technical upgrades, security risks or changes to third-party services.
3.2 Changes, suspension or discontinuation of free, test or non-core features, and short-term maintenance, do not constitute a breach and generally do not entitle you to compensation. Only where paid core benefits are permanently affected and the law requires a remedy may the Operator choose a remedy in the following order: extension, an equivalent replacement, or a refund for the unperformed portion.
3.3 The Operator does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, fully meet your expectations or satisfy all your needs.
Article 4 User Conduct and Account Measures
4.1 You must comply with applicable laws and regulations. You must not use the Service for unlawful activities, including publishing unlawful or harmful information, infringing others' lawful rights, maliciously attacking systems, circumventing payment mechanisms, sharing or reselling accounts, or using AI output for fraud or other unlawful conduct.
4.2 The Operator may independently issue warnings, remove content, restrict features, freeze, suspend or permanently terminate accounts in response to unlawful conduct, breaches of this Agreement, account anomalies, security risks, third-party complaints or regulatory requirements. In ordinary cases, the main reasons may be explained afterwards. Advance notice is not required in emergencies, for preservation of evidence, regulatory investigations or circumstances where the measures might be circumvented. An appeal generally does not suspend enforcement. The Operator's review outcome is the final internal platform decision, without excluding your right to seek external remedies under the law.
4.3 You must compensate the Operator or third parties for losses caused by your conduct. Where your debt is due, its amount is determinable and notice has been given, the Operator may set it off against account balances or amounts payable that may lawfully be disposed of. In an urgent risk situation, the Operator may first freeze the relevant benefits or stop providing services. The Operator may recover any amount remaining after set-off.
Article 5 AI Service Information and Disclaimers
5.1 AI output is for reference only and does not constitute professional advice. You must exercise your own judgement and bear the risks of decisions based on AI output. Do not rely on AI for major decisions involving personal safety, substantial assets, medical or health matters, legal matters or similar issues.
5.2 The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, suitability, originality or non-infringement of AI output. The Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or punitive losses, or losses of anticipated earnings, goodwill, data or opportunity arising from AI output.
5.3 Text, voice, images and other content generated by the Service will carry AI-generated or synthetic-content labels as required by law, using text, audio, graphics, interface notices, file metadata or other methods appropriate to the actual service. You must not maliciously remove, alter, forge or conceal these labels. When publishing such content on third-party platforms, comply with applicable law and the platform's declaration and labelling requirements.
5.3A Initial features and labelling. The features actually provided at initial release and their labelling are as follows: (1) Text: AI companion conversations, personalised analyses, task and goal planning, schedule suggestions, summaries and reviews are provided as text. The chat page continuously displays “AI-generated content” at the top. AI-generated plans, analyses and reviews appear on their respective AI-content pages and are not presented as professional human advice. (2) Voice: AI replies can be played using speech synthesis. The official initial release does not offer external downloading or sharing of voice files. Audio plays within conversation pages labelled “AI-generated content”, is managed as AI-synthesised content and does not produce externally available unlabelled audio files. (3) Images: Real-time AI image generation and user image uploads are not offered. Avatars, illustrations and invitation assets are preset static resources, not content generated instantly for users. The official initial release has no dynamic AI image export feature. (4) Sharing: Only relationship-collaboration invitation cards or links within WeChat are supported. One-click external sharing of original chats, personalised analyses or AI audio is not offered. Invitation pages clearly explain their purpose, and invitation cards do not contain chat content or sensitive analyses. (5) Copying and export: Self-service bulk export is not available at initial release. Users may request a copy of personal information through the unified customer-service channel as provided by law. Copies supplied to users retain an “AI-generated” notice for AI-generated text; unlabelled AI audio or image files are not supplied.
5.4 When legally prescribed conditions arise, such as expressions of self-harm or suicidal intent or a significant risk to personal safety, the Operator will provide emotional support, take necessary intervention measures and promptly contact a guardian or emergency contact as required by law. The AI service does not replace the police, medical institutions or professional rescue services. You should still contact real-world emergency assistance immediately. The Operator does not promise to identify every risk or prevent every harmful outcome, but does not use disclaimers to exclude statutory safety obligations.
5.5 Limitation of liability. To the extent that liability may lawfully be limited or excluded, the Operator's total liability to a user for one incident and a related series of incidents is capped at CNY 10 for free users and at the amount actually paid for the specific order giving rise to the dispute for paying users. The Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or punitive losses, or losses of anticipated earnings, goodwill, data or opportunity. This does not apply to liability that the law expressly prohibits limiting or excluding.
Article 6 User Content and Intellectual Property
6.1 Intellectual property rights in text, voice, images and other content you input, upload or produce while using the Service (“User Content”) belong to you or the relevant rights holders.
6.2 To provide, maintain, improve and protect the Service and fulfil legal obligations, you grant the Operator a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence, valid for the duration of the Service, allowing the Operator and its entrusted service providers to store, copy, convert formats, make technical modifications to, analyse and transmit User Content to the extent necessary. The Operator may lawfully use irreversibly anonymised data for statistical analysis and service improvement. Public disclosure of User Content, use in advertising or promotion, or use of identifiable sensitive interaction data for general-purpose model training requires separate authorisation as prescribed by law.
6.3 Until the Operator expressly grants commercial authorisation, you have only a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable right to use AI output. You are responsible for copying, editing, publishing, commercial use, removing labels and infringement of third-party rights. The Operator does not guarantee that AI output is original, registrable, non-infringing or suitable for a particular purpose.
Article 7 Fees and Payment
7.1 Some features may require payment. Fees and payment methods are those displayed on the purchase page and in the Membership Purchase and Refund Rules.
7.2 You must pay through lawful channels designated by the Operator. The Operator is not responsible for losses caused by your use of unofficial channels or third-party payments.
Article 8 Changes to and Termination of the Agreement
8.1 The Operator may revise this Agreement because of changes in laws and regulations, business adjustments or service improvements. General wording changes take effect after publication or notification. Your continued use may serve as acceptance of such general changes.
8.2 For material changes involving fees, purchased core benefits, purposes of personal-information processing or other matters requiring separate consent by law, the Operator will give prominent notice and obtain your confirmation again. If you disagree, you may stop using the Service, with the unperformed portion handled accordingly.
8.3 The Operator may discontinue all or part of the Service because of business adjustments, regulatory requirements, force majeure, changes to third-party services or security risks. Free features and unpaid benefits generally do not entitle you to compensation. For personal information that must legally be handled, unperformed paid benefits and accepted refund requests, the Operator will provide data handling, extensions, equivalent replacements or refunds for unperformed portions only to the extent required by law, choosing a reasonable solution in light of the circumstances.
8.3A Discontinuation plan. Except for regulatory orders, major security incidents, force majeure or other emergencies that make advance notice impossible, the Operator will generally give at least 30 days' notice before discontinuing all or part of the Service, using one or more of Mini Program announcements, WeChat service notifications, customer-service messages or contact details provided by users. During the notice period, users may request a copy of personal information through the unified customer-service channel to the extent required by law and technically feasible. If no request is made in time, chats and other business data will be deleted or anonymised according to the established retention periods; data that must legally be retained will be stored separately. Discontinuation of free or test features, complimentary benefits and unpaid benefits generally does not entitle users to compensation. For unperformed paid core benefits, the Operator will choose a reasonable solution according to the circumstances, such as equivalent replacement services, migration arrangements or a proportionate refund for the unperformed portion. Promotional and non-cash complimentary benefits are not converted to cash. Accepted but unfinished refunds will continue according to the original review outcome and payment route. If that route is unavailable, a lawful alternative will be used after verifying identity and payment-receipt details. Where a user has engaged in violations, fraud, malicious refund practices, account sharing or other material breaches, discontinuation does not prevent the Operator from applying account measures, refusing non-refundable portions, setting off debts or recovering losses under the Agreement.
8.4 Upon termination of this Agreement, you must immediately stop using the Service. The Operator may retain necessary account records and transaction data in accordance with the law and this Agreement.
Article 9 Dispute Resolution
9.1 Disputes arising from or relating to this Agreement should first be resolved through amicable consultation. If consultation fails, either party may bring proceedings before the competent People's Court at the Operator's domicile, except where the law provides otherwise regarding jurisdiction by court level, exclusive jurisdiction or other mandatory jurisdiction. The Operator has prominently drawn this clause to users' attention.
Article 10 Contact and Complaints
10.1 For enquiries, complaints or legal notices, contact the Operator through the following unified channel: “Me — Contact Customer Service” in the Peiban Mini Program, using WeChat Customer Service.
10.2 Acceptance of your enquiry or complaint does not mean that the Operator agrees with your claim. Processing periods run from completion of identity verification and receipt of complete materials. Time spent supplying additional materials or on third-party verification is excluded.
Article 11 Miscellaneous
11.1 Headings are provided for ease of reading only and do not affect interpretation of the provisions.
11.2 If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
11.3 Failure or delay by the Operator to exercise a right under this Agreement does not constitute a waiver of that right.
11.4 The interpretation, validity and dispute resolution of this Agreement are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
